Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of techdiagrams.net (the “Service”), operated by Specmatics Technologies Pvt Ltd. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them.

1. The Service

techdiagrams.net provides engineering productivity tools: a diagram editor with simulation, a database schema designer, a team wiki, and shared workspaces. Parts of the Service are free and require no account. Paid plans add further features as described on our pricing page.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Service. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account has been used without your authorisation.

3. Your content

You retain all rights to the diagrams, schemas, documents and other content you create. We claim no ownership of it. You grant us only the limited licence needed to host, back up, transmit and display that content so the Service can operate — for example, storing it so your teammates in a shared workspace can open it.

The editor is local-first: content stays in your browser until you sign in, and you can export everything as JSON at any time.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not use the Service unlawfully, or to store or transmit unlawful content.
• Do not attempt to breach, probe or disrupt the Service or other customers' data.
• Do not resell or redistribute the Service without our written permission.
• Do not use automated means to place unreasonable load on the Service.

5. Subscriptions and billing

The Service is free for companies of up to three people, including the AI features. Beyond that, seats are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis per active member of a company, through our payment processor. Each plan includes a monthly allowance of AI actions, pooled across the company; additional actions may be bought as a one-off top-up. Prices are shown on the pricing page before you subscribe. You authorise recurring charges until you cancel. Cancellation and refunds are covered in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

6. Availability

We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may modify or discontinue features; where a change materially reduces a paid plan, we will give reasonable notice.

7. Intellectual property

The Service itself, including its software, design and trademarks, remains the property of Specmatics Technologies Pvt Ltd. These terms grant you no rights in it beyond use of the Service.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms. On termination you may export your content; we may then delete it in line with our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is”. Simulation results, verdicts and AI-generated advice are engineering aids and not guarantees about any real system — you remain responsible for your own designs and deployments. To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Gurugram, Haryana, India have exclusive jurisdiction.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in the Service before they take effect.
